Policies
This Privacy Notice explains how SWYPE collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit swypeswap.com, create an account, request or send payments, or use public swap, private swap, and fiat-connected routing features.
SWYPE is operated by DegenStudios. For the purposes of this notice, SWYPE is the public-facing brand and product environment, while DegenStudios is the operating legal entity behind the service.
Operating jurisdiction: London, United Kingdom. No public company registration number is listed on this site at this time.
Official written correspondence is handled through verified @swypeswap.com email channels while a dedicated public mailing address is being finalized. Current verified channels include support@swypeswap.com for support and legal matters, security@swypeswap.com for security reports, press@swypeswap.com for press and media, and partner@swypeswap.com for partnerships and integrations.
SWYPE is a non-custodial crypto payments and routing product operated as part of DegenStudios. In this notice, 'SWYPE', 'we', 'our', and 'us' refer to the operators of the website, product interfaces, support channels, and related infrastructure.
This notice applies to information processed through the public website, user accounts, payment-request features, creator tools, analytics surfaces, and supported swap or routing flows that link to or rely on this notice.
We collect information you provide directly, including email address, username, password credentials, profile content, support messages, payout routing preferences, and payment-request details.
We collect transaction and operational data needed to run the service, including selected send and receive assets, supported network choices, wallet addresses involved in a route, exchange or transaction identifiers, route status, timestamps, quote details, and service logs related to settlement or troubleshooting.
We also collect technical and security data such as IP address, device or browser request information, session identifiers, cookie preferences, abuse-prevention events, and limited audit logs used to secure the platform.
When you use SWYPE for public swap, private swap, payment requests, or other supported routing flows, we process the transaction data needed to prepare, monitor, and support that route. That can include the sending address, receiving address, selected assets, selected networks, settlement status, provider transaction identifiers, and route progress.
SWYPE is designed so provider-specific routing details are handled server-side where possible, and public users are not shown another user's private payout configuration. Some routing fields may be stored in obfuscated or encrypted form when that protection is enabled in the deployed environment.
Blockchain networks are public by nature. Information written to a public blockchain may remain publicly visible and may not be modifiable or deletable once confirmed on-chain.
We use information to provide and operate the service, including authentication, session security, account recovery, quote generation, route selection, transaction-status monitoring, payment-request settlement, analytics, and user support.
We use information to maintain reliability and security, including rate limiting, fraud review, abuse prevention, wallet validation, audit logging, incident investigation, and troubleshooting across external routing or settlement providers.
We may also use information to communicate with you about account activity, support responses, policy updates, legal notices, security issues, or important product changes.
We share information with infrastructure and service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate SWYPE, including hosting, database, email, analytics, security, quote, exchange-routing, payment, and settlement providers.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, sanctions review, fraud investigation, platform-protection efforts, contract enforcement, or to protect users, SWYPE, or the public from harm.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary advertising-broker sense. We may, however, disclose limited operational data to the external providers needed to execute or review a requested transaction.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, investigate issues, comply with legal obligations, maintain accurate records, enforce agreements, and protect the platform.
Different categories of data may be kept for different periods. Transaction records, support history, account-security logs, and moderation events may be retained longer than short-lived quote data where operationally justified.
If you contact us about deletion or correction requests, we may need to keep certain records where retention is necessary for legal, security, compliance, or dispute-resolution reasons.
SWYPE may use available account, wallet, transaction, and security information to assess risks associated with fraud, sanctions exposure, phishing, abuse, or other potentially unlawful activity.
External providers used in a route may run their own compliance or risk checks under their own terms. Those providers can restrict or reject activity independently of SWYPE.
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. These measures can include access controls, encrypted or obfuscated fields, session protections, audit logging, and abuse monitoring.
No online system can guarantee absolute security. You remain responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for making sure you are using the official SWYPE website and legitimate support channels such as support@swypeswap.com and security@swypeswap.com.
SWYPE is not intended for individuals who are not legally permitted to use the service in their jurisdiction. If we learn that information was collected in violation of applicable age-related requirements, we may remove the information and restrict the account.
SWYPE may operate across multiple jurisdictions and providers. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed in places where SWYPE, DegenStudios, or our providers operate, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
